Next Gen Stories – Connecting Authors and Readers of Children’s Stories

We are pleased to introduce the launch of Next Gen Stories, www.nextgenstories.com, a marketplace specifically for children’s short stories that encourages aspiring authors to write and provides a library of fresh new stories for parents to choose from.

“Studies show that reading to children is crucial and stimulates their development and learning of languages. At Next Gen Stories, we provide you with a wide selection of creative and fun stories to make reading time more enjoyable for parents and children.” – Byron Bennett, CEO.

The mission of Next Gen Stories is to provide a library of children’s short stories for parents that expands daily and also provides authors with a place to share their short stories for children. Users can preview and download stories, like or comment on the stories and share their comments through social media, or flag a story. When choosing and downloading a story, parents can personalize stories with their child’s name as one of the characters. Additionally, parents can signup for a weekly newsletter that highlights new stories, popular downloads and featured authors. Users that sign up for a low-cost annual membership of $36 get 3 stories per month with their membership.

Next Gen Stories is the only marketplace designed specifically for children’s short stories. Its intuitive interface and focused offering allows parents to find fresh stories their children will love for as little as 99¢ per story, from what will soon become the largest collection of children’s short stories on the web.

Aspiring and established children’s authors can share their stories on Next Gen Stories and develop a following. Anyone who has ever written a story for a child and would like to share it can post a story. Aspiring authors can hone their skills, build a following and even attract a publisher.

Through a simple submission process, authors can submit their text, insert images and designate character names that parents can change before downloading. Authors can share their stories with the world and at the same time build an income stream. Next Gen Stories reviews submissions to ensure that they meet our basic guidelines. Once approved, stories are posted to the site for readers to preview and download for as low as 99¢ per story. Revenues are split with the author 50 / 50 and royalty payments are distributed monthly.
