One day when Papa was sitting down talking to Mommy, he asked Princess RiverStar if she was happy.
She quickly replied with a smile that she was very happy.
Pleased, papa asked her what makes her happy.
Princess RiverStar went through a long list of things that make her happy:
Her dog Brownie.
Swimming at the beach.
When Mommy is happy.
She was about to continue when Mommy came over and gave her kiss and said, ‘You make me happy and when you are happy, I’m happy too.’
That started a round of smiles, laughing, hugs and kisses.
Hearing all the commotion, Brownie came running in to investigate.
It quickly turned into a game of playing and rolling around with Brownie.
Everybody was happy.
Before they realized it, Papa left the room and came back with a present wrapped in pretty wrapping paper and a pink bow.
All eyes immediately focused on the gift wrapped package.
Even Brownie was staring at it.
Papa said to Princess RiverStar, ‘if you can guess what makes me the happiest of all, you can have this present.’
